The third annual Jewelry Manufacturing Technologies Symposium is coming up soon, and we’re proud to announce that we will be a sponsor. The event, which brings together a community of creative and innovative minds in jewelry manufacturing, will be held at the Detroit Marriott Troy in Detroit, Michigan, May 17-20.

Ken Babayan, our Director of Manufacturing, will be attending. The symposium is an opportunity for us to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific discoveries, technological advances, and technical innovations in the field. In refining as in many other professions, it’s so important to never stop learning. Science and technology move fast, and we’re always looking for a better way to do things.

Innovation

Innovation in technology and technique has been a part of our business from day one. Back in the 70s, company founder David H. Fell, without much capital to speak of, had to get creative. He ended up designing and building his own equipment, things like nose pour furnaces and horizontal scrubbers. That kind of creative thinking helped make DH Fell what it is today.

Today, everyone at David H. Fell & Co. is dedicated to continuing that tradition of innovation. We’re always looking for something new that will keep us ahead of the curve and allow us to better serve our customers in the mining, jewelry, pawn, dental, or electronics industry. Sponsoring and attending conferences like this one is one way we broaden our knowledge while furthering education for the next generation of manufacturers.

We’re excited to interact and learn from the diverse cross-section of the industry represented at the Jewelry Manufacturing Technologies Symposium, from studio artists to jewelry designers to large-scale industrial manufacturers.
